It all started when…
When I lived in Toronto, I noticed the growing rise in homelessness and saw more people collecting empties from local recycling bins. I thought — instead of throwing cans into the bins, why not set them aside for quick access and simple support?
That’s when The Reclaim & Rise Program was created!
By witnessing the experiences of others, I became deeply grateful knowing it wasn’t me — while also understanding that it easily could be. The money collected from the empties we gather is used to hopefully make life a little better for those who need the support most.
Let’s use these simple fundamentals to help all of us rise together.
In the past, funds collected have gone toward senior care, planting trees, and supporting a family who lost their father to a senseless shooting. The love and support from the community is what makes this mission possible and I thank you!
As of April 2026, we began supporting a family of two — a mother and her one-year-old son.
With the strength we have as a community, let’s continue helping one another. Join us in putting our empties together to support the people who need it most — our neighbours, friends, and families.
